When the alarm rings, the sound keeps playing while you do the challenge.
Stuck? With the wake-up pass on (it is by default), a link lets you through after a minute, so you're never left with an alarm you can't stop.
Solve easy, medium or hard problems, 1 to 5 in a row, before the alarm lets you go.
Stuck on a challenge? After a minute, "Already up? Use your wake-up pass" lets you through. On by default.
A few minutes after you turn off the alarm, Bell Buddy asks "Still awake?". No answer within 2 minutes, and the alarm rings again. Off by default.
Type a phrase, Shake, Memory tiles, Scan a code and Steps, plus every challenge added later.
After your last snooze, every further ring plays a sound you pick, like one of the Loud alarms, at the alarm's own volume, with no slow build-up. You can still snooze.
The flashlight flashes while the alarm rings, up to 2 times a second.
More vibration patterns, at Low, Medium or High strength on phones that support it.
Starts soft and builds up.
If you turn alarms off in your sleep, a challenge asks for a little more than a tap first. If you're a heavy sleeper, Bell Buddy can't promise you'll get up, but it gives you the tools: a challenge, an awake check a few minutes later, and more ways to ring.
Math is free, with easy, medium or hard problems, 1 to 5 in a row. The wake-up pass and the awake check are free too. Type a phrase, Shake, Memory tiles, Scan a code and Steps come with the Wake-up challenges add-on or Premium.
Bell Buddy can't promise that anyone wakes up, but it has tools made for it: wake-up challenges, an awake check that rings again if you don't confirm you're up, and add-ons like Last-chance sound and a flashlight that flashes while the alarm rings.
An optional check after you turn off an alarm. 3, 5 or 10 minutes later, Bell Buddy asks "Still awake?". If you don't confirm within 2 minutes, the alarm rings again. It is off by default.
After a minute on a challenge, a link appears: "Already up? Use your wake-up pass". It is on by default. On Scan a code, "Can't scan?" switches to a Math challenge after 30 seconds, or right away if the camera can't be used.
Bell Buddy is free on Android 10 and up, with one small banner ad.
